Red sand group was founded in 1980 as a retail shop in Liwa, an oasis at the outskirts of Abu Dhabi. The flourishing economy of the Western region Abu Dhabi has provided bondless growth opportunities during the past 3 decades .Initially it started by selling agricultural product to the farms in Liwa and later developed itself to provide building material to top projects in the western region and beyond. In 2001 the company expanded to India by setting up a hotel in the name Hotel Liwa Tower at Kunnanmkulam, Kerala. For the past 10 years the Group have started to expand to various places in U.A.E including Beda Zayed (Madinat Zayed) in 2006, Ghayathi(near Ruwais) in 2009 and Dubai in 2011.
